Bigfoot Family

Not as good as the grand name "BIGFOOT"

It has a very mature message about the Oil Industry and its business practices along with vibrant enough color and animation to keep the kids engaged. It's entertaining and thoughtful but beyond that initial premise it's nothing overly grand and game changing.

I never had any intention of watching this until conservative politicians in my home province made a big hubbub about it's villainous portrayal of the oil industry. The animation is cheap, the voice acting is subpar (atleast for the English dub) and dialogue is hit-or-miss, but it's refreshing to see a kid's film wearing it's political agenda so proudly on it's sleeve, and as a whole it's passably entertaining. I had no idea this was a sequel.

Pretty shoddy and somewhat of a chore for the parents.

The follow-up to The Son of Bigfoot (2017) was alright. Sure, a lot of the characters are a bit standard, but for a B-tier animation film they had put enough care into Bigfoot Family (2020) for it to be mildly entertaining. Not a memorable experience, though.
