Beyond the Limits

Two short and bloody horror tales with the framing device of a graveyard caretaker telling stories about the people buried in his cemetery. The first is a modern day gangster/home invasion story and the second is a tale of torture and Satanism during the Inquisition. The two halves are somewhat incongruous and the way they attempt to tie them together is pretty lame. Amateur writing and badly stilted acting, the only redeeming quality is the copious amounts of extreme gore.

Top badass moment? As the almost solitary good-guy in this film, this honour has to go to Dennis. In particular, his heroics near the end to save the love of his life, Annabelle. I felt quite sorry for him really. A true and reluctant hero is always badass. 0 cats and 4 decapitations. Along with the decapitations, there're also many more heads that get blown to bits or otherwise smashed in with a wide array of weapons, old and new. Nice!

Has production values, writing and acting on par with a porn movie. Actually, this basically is a porno with all the sex replaced by people getting mutilated. I don't know who the target audience for that is, and I'm not sure I want to find out.

Another good Splatter Movie by Ittenbach. It's an amateur Movie with very well done hand-made effects.. If you liked Premutos try this one.
