Farley stars as Haru, an orphaned American who washes to shore in Japan and is mistaken for the Great White Ninja of legend. It's a lesser piece in the body of work any way you look at it, but that doesn't negate its ability to put a smile on your face. So now you tell me, did I just review this middling Chris Farley movie or my penis?

This is good quality slapstick. It doesn't matter who you are, but the concept of Farley as a fat ninja is hilarious.

I expected a train wreck but this is actually very funny. Not perfect and I was worried they were going to do the usual "holy insert word here" running gag to death but it was avoided.

Chris Farley in a movie with jokes you can see coming from very far away. He still makes most of the jokes funny, though, and that's why it's worth seeing.

Weak and inane comedy suffers more from a case of poor direction than performance, with Farley scrambling to make his admittedly impressively violent stunts work; while initially amusing, the repetitive nature of them eventually becomes wearying and numbing, due to slack and static editing and staging. Otherwise, not really much better or worse than any other B-grade comic vehicle of the 90s, but its one-joke premise runs out of steam long before the end credits.

Beverly Hills Ninja isn't one of the better Farley movies. It was just a cash-in on his popularity during the time. The inclusion of Chris Farley did a lot to help keep the movie funny but the story was just stupid and not the right kind of the stupid for this kind of comedy. Farley does a good job of playing the inept ninja and there are quite a few good bits but the story won't hold anybodies attention. The audience, like me, will continue watching this movie just to get to the next bit.

Farley died too soon, but it's difficult to see how he would have become a legitimate movie star on the back of sporadically funny films like B.H.N, which is a fair showcase for his childish slapstick buffoonery but little else. His bumbling oafish anctics are quite amusing for low brow humour addicts, and he is always likeable, even when the jokes fall flat, which is often. Shou, Rock and Sheridan provide adequate support when the dopey counterfeit ring plot fails to sustain interest.

This movie is insultingly bad. I know that the target audience are children and the mentally challenged but for the love of god it should be in humanity's best interest to bleach every trace of this movie out of existence for it does not only steal one's time but also defiles one's inner core and soul.

Chris Farley takes a Saturday Night Live skit premise and wills it to feature length through pure comedic talent. Featuring a fun guest appearance from Chris Rock as Farley's eager student. The film also features surprisingly passable martial arts action to complement Farley's classic slapstick.

Beverly Hills Ninja is one of the most juvenile PG-13 films you're ever likely to see, with only one joke going for it to see how many pratfalls the portly actor can endure without killing himself or others.
