Between Us Girls

Had all the potential in the world to make John's daughter Diana Barrymore a star, but her baby girl act becomes too much, made even worse by Robert Cummings bewildered character making the scenario totally ridiculous. Such a shame. Had a fine cast surrounding them, but they all get pushed straight into the background resulting in Barrymore being pushed too hard on the audience. Kay Francis was the only one keeping this grounded, and she was great in her role as the mother!
