Being in the World

Based on the idea that what has weight in our lives should carry weight in philosophy, Being in the World opens up a dialogue between scholars, artists, and master craftsmen culled from around the globe (from a Japanese carpenter and a Louisiana chef, to a jazz pianist and a flamenco guitarist) to explore how Heideggerian phenomenology and its contemporary offshoots may help us to radically rethink psychology, technology, and the ways in which we understand, negotiate, and in-habit the world.
