Behind Stone Walls

While a little slow at times, this was a decent poverty row production where even Edward J. Nugent was passable even if he'll always look comical trying to be serious. Priscilla Dean might have done her best role in the talking era. Not that means much as she didn't stay around long. The acting overall was decent while it was the plot and production that was weak. This is also Ann Christy's (Harold Lloyd's girlfriend in 'Speedy (1928)'), last movie of her short 5 years career in Hollywood.
