Sprightly and sunny, until the snow-ballers nearly murder an innocent cyclist.

The custom of snowball fights must be as old as time itself. The sheer frivolity of this piece of time comes through loud and clear, even though we're seeing a snowfight that happened over a century ago, and all the participants are almost surely dead. Oh, that poor bastard on the bike. As a lifelong resident of California, I haven't seen snow in 20 years, and I regret that I've never had a real snowball fight. Some of you probably don't pity me, however :-)

Apparently knocking someone off a bike was the height of comedy in 1896, who knew.

Seeing that bicyclist get assaulted with snowballs was hilarious. Does that make me a bad person?
