Ted Clark rescues pickpoket Danny from a mob, and restores Danny's loot, a pocketbook, to its owner Ann Dawson. She is carrying a letter that proves her brother, who is on death row, is innocent and Jim Grant is the guilty party. Ted and Danny help her escape from Grant's henchmen. Another one of those dreadful poverty row films with Regis Toomey as the lead. Actually he wasn't the main problem. He showed more motivation then usual for this one. It was more everything else that sucked. The story, the editing, the acting of rest of the cast. All bad. Though it was oddly weird watching 'Snub' Pollard flirting with the ladies. They tried to push in some action to freshen it up a bit, but nah.... that didn't work either. Not surprising as it was directed by Albert Herman.
