Barbarians

The home invasion twist was awesome, but the film around it was middling. The first half was shallow musings by uninteresting and unexplored people, with brief bright spots scattered. The second half was a fairly unsatisfying take on the home invasion genre, done worse than a decent chunk of films in the same genre. This squandered a lot of potential, instead being a basic commentary on "toxic masculinty" that lacks any nuance. Title cards ("Tables Turn") actually spoiled some of the movie.
