Barbarian Queen II: The Empress Strikes Back

A sequel in name only. Both movies are bad, of course, but the original at least wasn't boring. This one becomes a chore to sit through, and despite what the title implies, it has no empress in it. The hell.

The fighting frankly sucks and there's practically no blood, but Lana is cute and energetic and not shy about getting out her fabulous cans, which goes a surprisingly long way.

So, nobody on set questioned the availability of hairspray in ye aulden timmes? Nobody? Not a person. It's bad beyond that, but come on. Who hires their neighbor's pug to be a production designer anyway? Sure, he's cheap, but Mr. Greenberg's beagle is only two snausages more and is actually pretty nice to the extras. The people want quality, and if you give a damn, you gotta pay.

This unwanted followup brings back the bodacious Clarkson once again to take on the evil males around her. Only for those who'd give the original a 100 rating.

All right, but skip it and see the first one.

Instantly forgettable bad sequel of an already bad movie, but then again I'm not saying anything new - we are talking about B movies here. The original was at least somewhat laidback and easy to watch, this one is a bit more of a drag. The gratification elements are OK and serve the movie's purpose. The feminist domination and anemic fights are laughable and pathetic in execution, very unrealistic. Cheesy sub-title - "The Empress Strikes Back." : /

Terrible.
