Herbert Burkhart isn't able to find a job in post WWII Germany. He's spent 10 years in russian prisons and due to that was not able to finish his degree. He can't study because he's got no money. There's a lovely young lady who wants him to be happy but is ideas are different. Herbert and his brother Klaus start to build a tunnel to rob a bank. Being masked as builders their work seems to be lucky. They dig a hole over several days but in the end, Herbert is alone. A trap? (Summary by djalminho)
