Bangistan

Some genuinely good comedy with a charming sense of earnest in trying to reconcile faith, but its take on this is cheesy as hell with laughable use of symbolism. The portrayal of religion is the disingenuous "all religions are about peace" crap I fucking loathe as someone who studies theology with out of context references to faith that are generally meaningless. The ending was also an absurd copout that I couldn't help but cringe at.
