Buchi Babu (Akkineni Nageswara Ra) is a Railway Station Master in a village. He is a simple man respected and loved by all. Vani (Vanisri) is a budding actress who gains fortune and fame in a short time. When her evil manager (Nagabhushanam) who is also her own uncle forces her to marry him for her wealth, Vani runs away and lands at Buchi Babu's house.
