Banana Paradise

Two peasant brothers, tempted by tales of sweet bananas, follow the Kuomintang forces from China to Taiwan in 1949. They adopt false names and adjust to life in Taiwan amidst all the turbulent socio-economic changes leading up to their old age in the 1980s.
