After watching this bizarre horror comedy, I had a really clever and snappy mini-review already written in my head. It was eloquent if slightly verbose, weaving intellectual discussion of the film's dominant themes into a nonstop barrage of pun-based wordplay. I logged into Criticker to vomit forth my wit, only to see that BillyShears has already perfectly encapsulated the spirit of Bad Milo in seven words. PERFECTLY. Well played, sir.

I'm not sure what I would prefer this movie to be: funnier or smarter. A cast with a lot of comedy chops (truly, the best kind of chops) that just doesn't have that much fun stuff to do. Still an entertaining watch, but I guess I expected a bit more... everything. But to put it all in perspective, Bad Milo is the best movie featuring a moist demonic infant escaping someone's butt and biting off another man's penis since Hellraiser: Baby Geniuses.

I just watched a 90-minute movie about a murderous polyp. I suppose I could try to write more, but I don't think I could top that first sentence.

Bad Milo = Bad Movie. The worst thing you can do in both life and cinema is squander your potential. This could have been so good, but the script was boring, the comedy was lacking and the gore was set to 2 when it should have been set to 11. I hate when movies do this. Get me all excited about an idea only to shit the bed. It's the same cardinal sin that flooded the market during the 80's & 90's; i.e., having amazing cover art on your VHS boxes while secretly hiding a turd. You hate to see it.

A great cast wasted on a horror comedy that is neither scary nor funny.

What a disappointment. Ken Marino, Gillian Jacobs, Patrick Warburton, Stephen Root, and Kumail Nanjani...I mean in terms of comedy that's an amazing cast. Well the writing just lacked any sort of comedic punch. The horror elements clashed with the comedic, not really fostering a good environment for either. That said I was never bored. I always wanted to know what happened next, but after every decision the writers made I was consistently let down from what could have been a great movie.

Totally and utterly absurd. Bad Milo isn't that clever, nor that funny, nor even that scary; instead it delivers a weird, but fun, experience relying on its B-movie vibe and surprisingly well-known cast. It doesn't overstay its welcome with a runtime under 90 min filled with campy nonsense. Could it have been better? Yes, but then It wouldn't have been the only film that made me "awww" at a poop-monster.

Maybe a tad too short or a tad too slight, this is nonetheless a pretty funny parable about anger management and irritable bowel syndrome. It's pretty hard to dislike. Give it a shot.

The first half of this movie is hilarious but loses steam as it goes on. I thought the "life lesson" in to the film was also stupid.

I often really dig this quirky, crazy kind of extremely unique films. This one had me holding my sides from laughter a few times - it's just so preposterous and nutty. The effects are very simple and rudimentary , but I can't imagine this had much of a budget.

What a cast for this setup of a movie, this is what I like about magnet releasing. They may not have the most original concepts, but they go all out for their movies and it shows here in the oddest of places a story about an ass demon. For what this movie is, i should have hated it, but this movie does what it came to do, create alot of whyyyy and noooooo moments with fun characters and off the beaten path writing. Bad Milo could have been cliche after cliche, but it wasnt. Fun shit.

Worth it just to see Ken Marino give his all to a self-consciously stupid (but undoubtedly quite fun) movie. The man is an American treasure.

very funny. I thought that maybe the jokes would be lame potty humour but they are actually quite clever and the movie is very well done

Funny stuff. If you are expecting shit monster from Dogma levels of humor you should be very pleased. That's not to say there isn't a few dick and fart jokes, it's just not completely full of them. I'm a big Ken Marino fan and he is showcased well here.

I don't get who this is for exactly, the sole joke is this thing lives in a man's rectum and maybe twice comes out when he's stressed and kills someone. That's it.

Everybody has an inner demon, but where exactly do you keep it? I won't spoil it for you, but Bad Milo is a highly entertaining Horror Comedy. This movie has a cute Gremlin-Like creature that only wants to help his master exact his revenge. I thought that Milo was adorable and a bit frightening at times. The movie has a pretty great twist in it that I wasn't expecting (normally I'm good at guessing these things)...
