There is a special kind of magic recipe that low budget b-movies stumble upon every once in a blue moon, if only by pure accident. This one has passable effects for the era, it's chock full of cheese, and features strange random music videos. It's bad, but it's a damned fun kind of bad that almost made me forget I was watching a Band produced movie.

This is horror-comedy folks so it is meant to be both a satire of bad horror films and an imaginative exploration of ideas without the overhead of Official Mature Moviemaking. Quite funny, it involves a lot of slapstick and sight gags, features immediately identifiable archetypal characters, and has some of the best satire of hard rock bands in the history of cinema. Worth a watch on a rainy night.

An extended advertisement for third rate 'grunge' and 'alternative metal' bands signed to Moonstone. The effects aren't bad though, and it has nostalgic appeal for less discrimating horror buffs who gorged on Full Moon because scarcity.

Plotless video fodder. Band's Empire Pictures has probably made worse movies but we've all got better things to do rather than trying to figure out which is which.

A cheapoid sf picture with a story that's little more than an excuse to string together a series of musical performances by various bands on the Full Moon offshoot "Moonstone Records". Surprisingly, though, while still not good this is more palatable than most other Full Moon productions. The contrivances, music, and other elements of sheer goofiness recall fond memories of the rock 'n' roll showcase movies of the '50s and '60s
