Babysplitters

Babysplitters has a reasonably original premise that explores the journey that is willingly producing another human, as well as the occasional good joke. Unfortunately the film is neither that funny nor that poignant in its near 2 hour runtime. The bickering, emotions and plot twist are all a bit predictable and contrived. And often the characters are all a little too irritating. Pudi's time on Community affords him a look at his projects, but that good-will is wasting away. Sweet but too long.
