This is like Premium Rush for bitchin' 80s kids. Every time they show random BMX montages with laser sound effects it's the best thing ever.

This is a pure fun movie. There are a number of exciting scenes and moments in this film. It would have been great to have seen this movie in the 1980's when it came out. The cast has a lot fun wit their roles, even a young Nicole Kidman. Overall I would recommend this film.

This was surprisingly entertaining; like a collection of BMX stunts and chase sequences with sympathetic kids, lead by a young Nicole Kidman. The story is barely serviceable, but it doesn't matter. It also has a distinctive Aussie flavor and contains some scenes and language which would not fly in today's family entertainment. I watched this with our kids and they seemed entertained as well.

This movie shouldn't work. The plot is dumb and it's full of annoying comedy. But it really doubles down on some really impressive stunt work and when you combine it with the wonderful Sydney locations, it just fucking hums.

Playing much like The Goonies' eccentric Australian cousin, this is largely known for being one of Nicole Kidman's first movies- but it deserves a bit more credit than that. For as clunky as the pacing & writing can be in parts, this is a really solid family comedy with some admittedly a-touch-too-80's moments sprinkled in. Kidman's character is pretty great, the two boys are good too, & the supporting cast does fine. It's pure harmless cheese, & is enjoyable if taken lightly.

The dialogue is a bit painful to listen to and the chase scenes are laboursome to watch at times, but as an action film it's quite a lot of fun. The music and sound effects are delightfully 80s. The film has a distinctly Aussie feel (in a good way). The stunt work and photography are surprisingly good.

The action scenes and Nicole Kidman sell this one pretty well in the end.

Really only notable for being Nicole Kidman's film debut.

Sometimes I watch a movie just for the fuck of it. I would watch something completely arbitrary just to show off how random my life is. Sometimes this is a mistake. I can appreciate a bad movie. BMX Bandits is not a bad movie per se. It's a kid's movie you would see on Saturday morning on TV. I hated it. No entertainment, just kids trying to be witty and some bike stunts. Do Australians really speak with such an accent?
