Awful Orphan

Unfortunately, Charlie Dog is just way too annoying of a character to improve any of the cartoons he was in.

Annoying people (Characters) who won't go away and leave you alone are never funny. They're just annoying.

This short gets surprisingly weird for a Porky Pig cartoon. In a way, that makes it worth watching. Charlie Dog feels like an odd imitation of Bugs Bunnny. I'd still recommend this just for the utterly bizarre ending.

The ending really gets into a whole weird area.

Nobody in their right mind would want Charlie Dog as their pet. So it's supposed to be funny that this obnoxious dog keeps forcing his way into Porky's home? Only if you're into schadenfreude, and I'm not.

I only really love the very beginning.
