Avere vent'anni

Absolutely silly, but I laughed a bit.

As an Italian sex comedy, I'd say that the ending included in the European release is almost as jolting as Meet the Parents, when all the efforts of the films hero fall short and the ogre still somehow manages to get the princess.

From fluff 70s girl comedy, to softcore porn, to a moral exploration of sex and females, to some sort of political commentary, and on to a Deliverance-style ending, I can safely say that this movie went places I didn't expect it to, and that I enjoyed it less and less as it went on. I don't really understand the genre, or the writer's intent, but I think this could have been executed a lot better. I find myself asking, is it wrong to enjoy such a movie? Am I missing something?
