Ausente

Young Javier De Pietro is impressive here as a gay 16-year-old in pursuit of his teacher, and there's a refreshing non-alarmist attitude taken to adolescent sexuality. However, the film cops out by declining to figure out what happens when the secret's out. The cramped, foreshortened framing irritated me, as well. The final few minutes are wonderful though, but very very sad.
