August Underground's Mordum

This film has changed my life. The August Underground trilogy features some of the most deranged, gorey, bizzare and sickest horror flicks ever! This movie is shocking and sick, so if your squeamish, stay away from this one.

The best entry in the August Underground trilogy, the three most atrocious, depraved works of horror ever put to celluloid, Mordum is undoubtedly The Sickest Movie Ever Made (forget Salo and Cannibal Holocaust), largely due to a painstaking realism that could fool anyone (and has fooled many) into thinking this is snuff. Even the most hardened gorehound will find it hard to watch this in one sitting, and without constantly wanting to throw up. Caution: Will scar you for life.

I'm sick of these films that are determined to do whatever it takes to shock people. I didn't find it shocking - just unbelievably tedious, and very annoying in its screechy, repetitive and frankly desperate bid to shock. A complete failure on all levels.

Widely known amongst the underground as the sickest film ever made. It's definitely enough to scar the average viewer for life and it has some of the nastiest stuff I've ever seen...but I was bored. There isn't as much filler as with the other two films and the violence is as extreme as it gets, but it really does get tedious. Sadist highlights: Too many to list. Killjoy's shed, the castration scene, the gutfucking aaand the ending that I can't talk about on here. Very pleasant stuff.

There are some really fucked up moments in there, but I wasn't overly impressed. It's definitely something any lover of things horror should watch, but the gore level and realism (while being very impressive) just didn't fuck me up quite as much as I was expecting. Perhaps it was let down by the girl "cutting" herself in the beginning, and the bit where she was just dragging the blade across her arm, for instance. I felt it shied away from some of the potential, tending to spoil the illusion.

This isn't even good for Horror standards. The reputation does not proceed it, as this film is very very dry.

I was pretty much bored. There was mainly one pretty good original scene. Other than that, these guys came off like total goofs. A Krug & Company they certainly are NOT.

Juvenile and tedious.

It's hard to rate this movie. On the one hand, it's a vile, disgusting, evil movie without structure, plot, cohesion, style, artistry or purpose (the well done special effects are its one and only quality). On the other hand, it accomplishes its sole intent - to disturb, and it does so with flying colors. If all you want is mindless torture porn (I use the term in its TRUE sense), then watch it. If you want anything else, skip it. Your soul is probably better off anyway.

This movie is so messed up. This movie is not for everybody. It is not horror, its truly a new genre its depressing shock...there is no way this can be not real...its so over the top that it is not art its truly shock and sick for the sake of shock and sick..its one of a kind

I honestly don't get how someone can find entertainment in this. The only credit I give to the directors is they accomplished their goal on making a fake snuff film that is probably the most fucked up movie there is.

Really Hardcore..only for fans of this Genre...really only beliebe me

Watched the first half, stopped not to throw up. I have seen snuff alikes before, but this is..... there is no words to describe it. It's not without benefits though, now I know one road I would never want to go down in my life, sickness dwelling on itself. Sorry but this is out of limits of horror or any kind of entertainment. Normally I'd be more than glad to figure out how the fx is done, this time I wouldn't dare. Heed the warnings, just stay out or face the consequences.

Painful to watch and not because of the gore which, when one can actually see what's happening, is horrifying. Very shaky camera (hand held)and overly long, annoying filler bits with the "Deranged friends" fighting and cussing at each other. Killjoy's shed was shocking.
