Three children, two boys and a girl, stumble upon a flying saucer. The boys both step in without hesitating, and are whisked away to a planet in Earth's orbit but on the exact opposite side of the Sun. Inhabiting this planet are two women with Midwestern accents, who hypnotize the children to find they fantasize about milk, donuts, and Gamera, our favorite hero turtle... (imdb)

The heartwarming tale of a boy obsessed with traffic safety, two groovy space babes with slight southern drawls, and a giant turtle.

The high point of the series, with our young incorrigible males being chase around an alien world by two bumbling femme brain eating aliens. Mix in some extravagant monster fights and you've got a winner. [MST3k: GAMER-A! GAMER-A! Gam-er-a is real-ly neat. Gam-er-a is full of meat. We've been eat-ing Gam-er-a!]

Kind of a lesser, Gamera-themed version of "Destroy All Monsters". Gamera fights some sort of Swordfish Monster and also Guiron.

Hilarious dub, great monster fights, smokin' space babes.

About the best one of these Gamera things. Look at it with enough of a squint, through just enough bong smoke, and it sort of comes to resemble something hatched from the minds of Sid & Marty Krofft.

This is a weird movie. The A-plot is stuffed with interesting stuff, with brain-eating alien women who live in an apocalypse-ridden planet on the opposite side of the sun and control weather and monsters. Unfortunately, the B-plot is just the characters' families being mildly worried about them, and there's an extended padding sequence of flashbacks from previous movies. Worth a watch, but not super memorable. (It also has the worst dubbing of the series - is there an English sub out?)

When people say something is a good bad movie, they refer to this kind of thing.

This one *really* flies off the goofy meter with its acrobatic Gamera stunts, evil brain-munching villainesses, and the unforgettable Gamera theme sung in Japanese.

I don't have much Gamera context here, but I enjoyed the fight choreography. Also the horribly awkward dubbing.

Watch the MST3K episode with this movie in it for some good laughs. Otherwise not much point to it.

Watched the English dub, and it's one of the worst dubbing I've ever heard. Monster design is absolutely awful and the whole pacing is as slow as a Gamera turtle. Zzz, what a bore. Glad I watched with MST3K

A pretty mediocre entry in the series which is par the course for most of the Gamera series. The only thing that Gamera has over it's Godzilla counter part is the fact there's lots of monster blood and dismemberment featured in the Gamera films as apposed to the Godzilla franchise.
