Standard-issue action film gives the brawny 80s actioner crowd more or less what they would expect; undistinguished and undemanding and gives Van Damme a few exciting (if carefully edited) fight scenes. Falls down during the repetitive, overly talky "plotty" moments, and takes itself a little too seriously at times - making some of the more graphically brutal scenes a little tough to stomach.

Van Damme and Scott Adkins are wonderful martial arts fighters. May be my expectations more from them in this film but it was not as good as I thought. Overall movie is good to watch. Two hitmen (Van Damme & Scott Adkins), each with their own specialty, are hired to overthrow a drug cartel. Brazil (Jean Claude Van Damme) and Flint (Scott Adkins) will have to work together despite their rivalry to make this happen.

Very decent flick, a good one time viewer for action seekers. Adkins is a good addition to the aging Van Damme for the action scenes.

Two bad ass assassins meet under unwanted circumstances. How the story was constructed was not bad. However, the color of the entire film was faded, and I thought it was all flashback of some sort for a big part of the beginning, but it was not.

Someone forgot to tell the filmmakers they were making a buddy assassin movie with JCVD. Takes itself so seriously in spite of how goofy it actually is.

Seems like a low budget movie made in the Czech Republic or some such place. Could have been just packed with action scenes, but it wanted to have dialogue (sigh).

"A direct-to-video-quality actioner distinguished primarily by its star's blatantly deteriorated martial-arts prowess." - Nick Schager

Pretty good low(ish)-budget action film with nice cinematography. Van Damme is very good; wish the film would have focused more on him rather than the younger assassin. My main gripe is lack of background for Van Damme's character, despite the fact that he is the most interesting in the story (along with the black guy he does business with). While I appreciate the genuine lack of predictability in key parts of the script, character development is spread too thin and emphasizes the wrong people.
