Nat Wolff was an interesting young lead. Mickey Rourke looked very different than I remember him. It was amusing the see Sarah Silverman play the teenagers promiscuous mom. Heavy on drama and very light on the comedy & romance. The story was not entirely satisfying, but sometimes moderately interesting. The best parts was the Hitman teaching the kid some important aspects about being a man. I particularly disliked the religious aspects and the ending was lame.

Mickey Rourke is pretty good in this, but the "student meets assassin" thing falls flat. The concepts are just at odds with one another and it fails as both a comedy and a drama. It meanders on and on and on.

The killer and the college student. A weird mix of clichés done so broad that they sort of poke fun at the situations at the same time. And in a way it works with Mickey Rourke giving as solid performance as he's allowed.

What an awful movie, starts ok, but then it all goes all over the place with scattered storylines, terrible acting, missed opportunities and so many cringe worthy moments, the only thing good is that Tony left this movie behind to make something really good afterwards

This is a fairly amusing watch. The characters are good and it has a bit of a comic book type feel - its somewhat imaginative I suppose. While the plots unlikely, its a fairly easy and entertaining watch, so I'd give it a 7 out of 10 rating for the pure entertainment value. Its worth a watch if your wanting an amusing watch, even though there are some cheesy/cliche aspects but then that kind of accounts for some of its humour - I wouldn't say its the sort of film that takes itself too seriously.

Felt pretty long, but cool movie. Mostly because of Mickey Rourke. Is he ever not great?
