Being not familiar with any of the previous material on print or film I don't know why but decided to watch this. The animation is quite good and the movie flows at a good pace, the story is definitely geared towards the little ones, which is ok.

The story was childish, but more closer the end the action got loose. And I kind of liked the CG here. Specially the main bad guy and all marvelous mosquito flies! Nice! - Haven't seen yet Arthur 2, since the first one was so lame.
