This is the third attempt to turn this story into something interesting. The original series was bloated and ridiculous, the 2 part OVA was lackluster and lacking in depth, and now we have this. This movie is definitely the best looking of the three versions. This ended up being the best version of the story, it's still dumb as hell though, with better animation and pacing than either of the other versions.
