"Bad boy" Pat Boone has a thing for joyriding in cars. He is sent off in the country with his uncle to mend his ways. There he meets young and sweet Shirley Jones and learns about harness racing and the country life. Songs ensue. Charming late 1950s musical romance. The BBQ song cracks me up.

Pat Boone plays the kind of juvenile delinquent who tucks his shirts into his belted khakis. There is actually a bit of a story to this and some horse racing that provides some excitement. Also an unexpected twist at the end where the sheriff encourages everyone to cover up a parole violation so he doesn't have to arrest the most clean cut hooligan ever.
