Anything for Jackson

A nice surprise. I didn't even watch a trailer for this so I didn't know what I was getting into and it was a refreshingly well made movie with some effective scares and an engaging story.

watchable horror. cannot say it was scary but in some way refreshing

So much fun. Some legit scares, some legit gross out sequences and deeper than it should be story. Great cast, great effects, good stuff all around, must-see horror.

Interesting and entertaining through and through. It's kind of a fresh take to see the satanists here be actually relatable characters, heck, it's even hard to call them the bad guys.

Very pleasantly surprised by this one. It did good on both story and and execution. Not super scary but it had it's moments.

Anything for Jackson was a film that Shudder sent me a screener to months in advanced, and you know what? It surprised me. It's not the best horror film I've ever seen, but the premise of a reverse exorcism was actually really cool, and the introduction to a bunch of...weird horrific beings reminded me a little bit of the Conjuring universe.

A somewhat generic demonic possession premise, rendered notable by an above-average execution and a change of POV.

okay movie
