Better pace and plot than the first one. It's outrageously gratuitously gory and over the top, nasty and dumb. Parodies some of the cheap and ridiculous body horror type horror movies of the 80s. But you have to know that is exactly what signed up for if you watch the movie. The Murdoch Mysteries fancypants playing the bad guy, the people puking to the tune of O Canada, the comically severed limbs... That finale was a thing of ugly revolting beauty.
