Having seen Greta Garbo's English and German speaking versions, it's finally time to see Blanche Sweet take on the part in the original dramatized production. And if you've seen any of the Garbo versions you'll find all this familiar. George F. Marion who plays the father in the English Garbo adaptation played the father in the silent one as well. I probable prefer Garbo's German version to this, but Sweet's original might be the most precode of them all.
