Andaz Apna Apna

Surprisingly, I enjoyed the musical numbers most. While I can see how some might find this hilarious, I did get a few laughs, three hours of misunderstandings, disguises and bumbling around is way too much for me to bear.

It's amusing to see this film being panned here because it is easily the greatest "Indian" comedy with some of the most unforgettable characters and dialogue.

The serious parts are bad enough to be funny but the funny parts are just bad. It's mostly funny parts.

Almost fascinating in its awfulness. There's very little funny going on in this "comedy" full of goofy sound effects, exaggerated facial expressions, dumb slapstick, diarrhea gags and wacky mix-ups. Painfully obnoxious. The sad thing is there actually are some decent comic ideas in the script, but it's all executed so amateurishly and clearly aimed at the lowest common denominator. There were a few fun moments, but then something stupid would happen and ruin it. Even the songs are disappointing.

Crazy long (shot over several years) and supremely silly...but...so silly it's enjoyable in certain parts. If you can get through the length and low production value.

Inspired from hollywood movie "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels". Famous for excellent timing of comic sequences and melodious songs. Each scene is unique.
