An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder

It’s probably not fair (or even meaningful) to rate these on the feature film continuum, but here goes: like Part 1, a by turns meandering and long winded but undeniably fun and amusing wander through Smith’s observations and interests, with a (some might say) suspiciously receptive crowd; the first half (“Toronto”) is more or less perfect, so it’s a shame the longer London segment becomes basically redundant and a bit tired in the back stretch. Still worthwhile and enjoyable for fans.

Will never spend 'an evening with Kevin Smith.' I'd much rather spend an evening performing a DIY foreskin removal.

Again - love the man, love listening to him talk, he's endlessly entertaining... so yeah!

A great chance to get to know one of the better comedy directors of our generation. He loves to interact and open up and this whole series is worth checking out if you're a fan of his work. This one feels even more open than the first.

Smith is pretty entertaining and his live storytelling sometimes works better than his scriptwriting. He works a crowd naturally, but man he sweats a lot.

This is probably better than the first Evening With, but still only realivant if you're a big Kevin Smith fan. As a stand alone movie, this is nothing special. It would be a worthwhile extra feature on a DVD, but nothing more.

It's always fun to listen to Kevin Smith talk shit. I found it extremely interesting when he talk about making movies and how Hollywood works. This time most of the questions he answers are pretty dumb and uninteresting, but really funny if you are in the right mood. Pick up the first 'Evening' and only if you really enjoy it pick up this one.

Out of the three "Evening with Kevin Smith" releases, I'd have to say this one is the weakest. For Smith fans only.

Great Doku about a "modern hero"...only for fans of smith and his view ask the universe stuff.if you hate is movies walk around that flick..

Its just Kevin Smith talking shit, your not gonna watch this if you aren't already a fan of the guy. Though you should, as he's an entertaining fucker...
