American Pie Presents: The Book of Love

Three guys try to get laid and the movie title includes "american pie", don't act like you weren't warned. This movie can be summed up by stifler's little brother showing his cellphone and saying "here's a pic of my grandma masturbating!" Ugh, gross dude! A picture of a grandma masturbation, man! dude!

Crap

This one is really bad. Probably the worst American pie and the previous 1 or 2 were already aweful. Where in other American pies some scenes were funny, here the scenes were rather embarrassing. Btw: the worst Stifler I've ever seen in this film. The Stifler magic is gone..

The moose scene is sick and the reason i gave this a 0.

The film opens with the lead having sex with a peanut butter sandwich. His dog begins to lick the peanut butter off his dick, so he starts moaning the dog's name. His little brother videotapes this on his phone and sends it to the whole high school. I'd love to say this scene doesn't set the tone for the rest of the picture, but it does. It really does. That said, it's STILL leagues better than the other teen sex comedy I saw this year, the apocalyptically awful I Love You, Beth Cooper.

While none of the sequels can compare to the original cast, this is really not as bad as all the zeros make you believe. There are a few funny scenes, Levy still makes an appearance, and there are many lovely young ladies in it.

American Pie: The Book of Love might take place in the old high school, but what good does that do us when there are no non-Eugene Levy cameos from the old cast, or even callbacks to the original film? Instead, we get a cheap, poorly acted, boring, and predictable movie that also inexplicably contains some CGI -- and it's the worst CGI I've ever seen in a movie. It's almost worth watching just to see how bad this CGI is. Who looked at this and thought "yes, this looks perfect"?
