Amarilly of Clothes-Line Alley

A pleasant enough Pickford picture in a light comedy vein, with artfully pretty cinematography. It loses steam a bit half way through, as the high-society part of things feels far blander than the rest. The attempts at crosscutting to the society characters earlier and later in the story for rhetorical contrast don't really work very well, either. At any rate, it's still a nice and lively take on the sort of sentimental picture it is.
