Allez, Eddy!

They tried to make something out of this, but they largely failed in my opinion. First of all, the standard language is a bad choice, always. They want to tell a story about the hero of the people, about the problems of the people, about the life of the people, but they do not use the language of those people. This just doesn't work and the film was bound to be avarage at best, which it is. The story is somewhat heartwarming (but plain childish) and the characters are never real or believable.
