All Summers End

I'm excited to add Tye Sheridan to my list of seen actors. I didn't even know there was a muted version of Barry Keohgan.

Immature bad choices punctuate this mostly tender story of first love, friendship and dealing with regret. Good music and overall production quality. The pace is sometimes too slow which tests your patience, but it was well worth watching although nothing stood out as being particularly great or memorable.

All Summers End is a mediocre but not unwatchable movie about two teenagers falling in love while holding onto grief and guilt. It's a moderately successful romance that might be too singularly focused on that single element, making its subplots and supporting characters feel like they were tacked on, rather than integral pieces of the picture. It's predictable and shallow, but the acting is solid and it looks pretty good. There are better things, but there are even more that are far worse.
