Sandra Bullock's character Mary is a chatterbox, but she never says anything interesting or funny. This, in itself, is supposed to be funny, but it isn’t. It’s irritating. Mary never stops talking, even when, in one scene, her only companion is a deaf child. HOW I ENVIED THAT DEAF CHILD.

What was the moral of this story? Don't lie to get out of a weird blind date because it's mean? Anyone can make friends? Red boots are so CRAZY!? Oh and I love the "moral high ground" taken by Howard(Quall) when he tells Huges(Church) that the people on Huges' side of the fence(reporters) are no better than the people on Howard's side (crazy news followers). Actually, I suppose he was right, both sides of the "fence" were equally sensationalizing news stories that thrived on people's misery.

I reserve only the worst of films to a score of zero, but I was this close to giving this "thing" that very score. People have said 2009 was Bullock's best year no doubt, but this just made me think why?

Despite a lazy script that fails miserably at developing relationships between its primary and secondary characters, All About Steve IS watchable. After all, it has Sandra Bullock in it! Take it for what it is--a movie to rent and watch late on a Saturday Night with a bag or two of popcorn. It's light-hearted non-sense.

Wasn’t good. Sandra Bullock’s always a little charismatic but this was her most forgettable & probably worst script, despite a solid performance within the confines of the role. There is no real moral, theme or point as far as I can tell. The whole thing is pretty ridiculous, not in a very good way either.

All I remember was liking it more than I should have. Still far from good. But I respect Sandra Bullock for actually picking up her Golden Raspberry!

Sandra Bullock ne kadar sinir bozucu olabilir sorusuna cevap olmasının dışında pek bir elle tutulur tarafı olmayan film.

I just wish the adults who wrote and directed All About Steve had majored more on real acceptance and less on silly stereotyping (not to mention sexual innuendo and profanity). The toupeed bowling balls of the world may unite in this flick, but are we genuinely challenged to accept them? Or is what we get here really just another form of condescension? (pluggedin.com)

From bits I'd seen in passing it looked like an oestrogen-fuelled Office Space, when I actually tried watching it nothing worked.

absolutely ridiculous. the plot was just stupid, and mary was a psychopath; her type of uniqueness should probably have been put in a mental institute. every bit of this movie oozed with cheese and i could literally feel my brain cells dying as i was watching it.

A good rule of thumb for filmmakers anywhere should be: If you want the audience to empathise with your main character, don't make your main character a mentally deranged stalker. Seven points for Thomas Haden Church being his usually solid self, even though his character becomes increasingly less coherent as the movie goes on. Being in this pile of shit I would have forgiven him for mailing it in. I mean this even has DJ Qualls making an awful self-rightous moral for christ sake. Avoid.

I usually love to watch movies with Sandra Bullock, but this movie is a bit lame even though she is very sweet, upbeat and energetic throughout. I liked her character, but found it really hard to enjoy the story. There were a few humorous moments. It was not very credible that someone beautiful and smart would be chasing across the country after a guy who doesn't really like her. The premise was retarded.

Mary Horowitz (Sandra Bullock), a crossword puzzle writer for the Sacramento Herald, is socially awkward and considers her pet hamster her only true friend. Her parents decide to set her up on a blind date. Mary's expectations are low, as she tells her hamster. However, she is extremely surprised when her date turns out to be handsome and charming Steve Muller (Bradley Cooper), a cameraman for the television news network CCN. A script so retarded could not work. The story has no sense and the acting forced of Bullock is not funny at any time.

Do i really need to say why this film sucks? Do I really? Needless to say, it is entirely misguided to make a person who is clearly a mentally unstable stalker the main character in a romantic comedy who we are fully expected to later root for even though we are expected for most of the film to laugh at her painful antics. Of all the terrible rom-coms out there now, this is perhaps the worst in some time.

This movie is would have had a better title "All about Idiocy". This movie tells you how to make a utter stupid movie which has no story, acting or anything. Wonder how Sandra Bullock agreed to do this movie when she does movies like The Blind Side. Better left unwatched rather than feel the torture.

I'm not sure they can call this a comedy when only one minute of this whole film is slightly funny, that being the fire hose scene.

Falls seriously short of anything remotely funny, even with his notable cast, while Barker vies for the "most annoying character ever created" award. Even Bullock's charm and Cooper's hunky-ness can't spare this from being, in a five-letter word--"awful."
