Before I start my review I just want to say that while this is definitely not a great film, hell it might not even be a good film, but it most definitely is not the pile of shit that most people are saying it is. There are tons and tons of worse movie out there a lot of which gets more love than this. Ignore the hate, watch it and then judge it for yourself.

Um, redeeming qualities? The music was appropriate/compelling once or twice. I think that was it.

Yep, kinda crappy. "Aww, shit!" yes Van Damme and daughter, literally what I said after finishing that one. Pierce Brosnan's son also appears and the cameo of Pertwee is laughable. I want to say too as hotsake that it is not that bad though, I could see the whole thing.

Insufferable up until the actual aliens appeared, at which point it became only marginally better. The acting was so-so to bad, but the characters were written to be really unlikable, especially at first, and I still don't understand why filmmakers don't create characters who the audience wants to identify with. The camera work is nauseating. It's frequently tilted for little reason and shakes, likely to hide the poor quality of the action. Hey, at least Julian Glover shows up for 60 seconds.

The making and showing of movies like "Alien Uprising" should be prohibited by law !! This was just terrible. "Alien Uprising" will go down in history as one of the most annoying and meaningless movies ever. British archetypes: Cool, witty, laid back. "A bit handy", tough with a strong sense of justice and the ability to enforce it, but also caring, loving and romantic but also sexy, beautiful, charming, good in bed and hedonistic. Work hard, live for the weekend, get pissed, pull birds, be a good dad, watch nature documentaries, BORIS LEGENRD, fuck the Tories, two weeks in Spain, bangin' tunes. If films show what we aspire to be, then let us begin the culling. (I am British)
