Albüm

(Tati + Roy Andersson + Romanian New Wave + Turkish conservative banality)/4 = Album. The great thing is, the director can create a meditative and haunting experience of witnessing the couple's life. Whole watching experience is to be like a citizen of Turkey: there is something very heavy on the air but nothing happens as well. Bad thing about the film: it belittles its characters and the plot seems somehow too self-indulgent. But still, it's this bold attitude what Turkish cinema needs.

Bu filmi tekrar izlemek isterim sanırım. Fikir olarak çok beğenmeme rağmen içerik olarak o kadar güçlü bulmadım. Senaryoda çatışma neredeyse yok. Ayrıca iyi gözlemler yapılmış olsa sinemaya bunu dönüştürürken Recep İvedikvari mizah anlayışına düşmek üzücü olmuş. Başroldeki çiftin oyunculukları fena değildi ama.

Romanya yeni dalga sinemasından etkilenmiş bir yönetmenin filmi. Derinlikli konulara değiniyor. Filmin taklit olduğu yönündeki eleştiriler ise pek oturaklı değil. Son derece özgün işlenmiş bir film.
