Perversely enjoyable disaster film is admittedly pretty dreadfully made on all fronts but great fun to watch, especially for star spotting (Swanson playing herself in one of the more bizarre meta-cameos of all time) and for any fan of ZAZ's later 'AIRPLANE': yes, this is the movie featuring nun Helen Reddy's serenade of bed-ridden Linda Blair -- bring on Pazuzu!

As cheesy and goofy as this gets at times it was still a thrilling good time.

Get on helicopter. Go land at airport for some reason. Get a coffee. Talk to some people. Oh golly, I guess we should get back on the helicopter to go rescue that plane. Only slightly less womanizing than the original Airport. Airplane took some of their plot lines from this movie, so that's nice.

As a fan of the Airplane movies, it was hilarious to see all the inspiration from this movie

Doesn't quite capture the soap/disaster hybrid magic that made the first one work, but it's still a fairly watchable disaster flick. This one boasts a similarly impressive ensemble cast that just doesn't make use of all of the talent here.

Best experienced as if you were the Jerry Stiller character.

Hilarious, outlandish and oddly entertaining.

All the way through this all I could think of was Airplane.

Okay, taken as a movie this is admittedly some strange pot of stew, but as entertainment it's hard to beat! Just think of it as a 2-hour-long talk show (the 70s version of one of those old Night of a Thousand Stars things).

It's hard to believe this and the original Airport are part of the same series.

Processed schlock. This could only have been designed as a TV movie and then blown up to cheapie-epic proportions. One can have a fairly good time laughing at it, but it doesn't sit too well as a joke, because the people on the screen are being humiliated.

Even when they're sitting on the tarmac, Charlton Heston's face looks like it's about to break the sound barrier.

Decent story that was fucked up in just about every possible way. George Kennedy is ok though.
