Air Eagles

Many silent stars in this rather early talkie and it wasn't so much the actors fault this one didn't deliver. Veterans like Otis Harlan and his squeaky kangaroo shoes and burly Berton Churchill as a carnival promoter brought what they needed. Lloyd Hughes as the not-so-charismatic-but-handsome lead had a prominent voice considering he was one of the silent actors that didn't really survive the transition. What killed this movie was the very weak story. If you ever see it you'll understand.
