Was a tad amused but the fat chick makes the short.

Admittedly it's the same joke done over and over but with a punch line that's slightly increased in it's absurdity each time. It does a humourous job of capturing the feeling of being rejected over and over without taking itself even remotely seriously so it avoids any depressing tones. Really enjoyable silly short.

kind of funny, but i get a little annoyed by comedy acts that revolve around this sort of stereotyped male-female antagonism.

Charming and funny animated short, drawing from Hertzfeldt's favourite topic: rejection. It's not near as good as Rejected, but you can see a lot of the seeds that would later blossom into the genius of his later works. It's a student film, but one that shows a lot of potential. Uneven, but still hilarious.

This movie is amazing. It might just be the best movie I've ever seen.

I burst out laughing when the guy walked past the overweight chick. Don Hertzfeldt is such a bitter asshole in this short.

This short cartoon's gruesome depiction of the opposite sex as (literally) "femme fatales" is charming and touching in a childish way. One of Hertzfeldt's really good ones.

It's not what he would become, but it's still a fun short. It's silly, has a catchy little tune that permeates throughout the entire thing, and it was clearly his feelings at the time regarding getting rejected. It's important to note that it's not every female, so calling it misogynistic is a really far fetched... it's just his experience, I'm sure Don never thought all women were gold diggers. You know how people are when they're angry. When he walks past that one girl I laughed.

"A Bitter Film by Don Hertzfeldt". You got that right! It's a huge and cynical exaggeration of women (despite what the neckbeards on YouTube will tell you), but I like cynical exaggeration, so I like this.

This short's views on women seems rather unhealthy. Even though Hertzfeldt's overly violent shorts ever feel that healthy, the blood and gore usually comes from a place of fun (which makes it hilarious) rather than bitterness (which makes it... okay, a little hilarious, but far less so).

Rather sexist any way you slice it, though I've seen worse depictions of women at the hands of nineteen-year-olds.

Don't know why, but it feels like it's made for youtube. Funny, sexist, nothing special. I actually used to draw few second animated "movies" at school during the breaks with stick man getting killed in various ways. So I see where Hertzfeldt is coming from.

Very funny, but it's essentially just one joke and the conclusion takes the misogyny a bit too far. Rejected is a vastly superior work.
