Delicious cheese with some foibles. There is some kind of affability that Nolte pulls off here in spite of his almost cartoonish appearance, although I'm still not sure what all these women see in him. His counterpart Lee Miller is an expressionless husk, which is called for but he really struggles to make his romance convincing. Flynn Boyle and Christie were both pretty good. I think the cinematography may be excessive for an Alan Rudolph movie.
