This movie shows us humor with intelligence immortal. When I was 10 years old, I saw this movie for the first time. Now I'm 40 but I'm still smiles.

It is hard to believe that the guy who directed "The Bicycle Thief" also made this movie. I would recommend this movie to fans of Peter Sellers. Sellers is good here and there are some good laughs. The song in the opening credits is extremely catchy.

Not a particularly great film, but it's about making a movie and it's got Peter Sellers in it -- enough for quite a few points in my book.

(Viewed on 11/09/11): After The Fox was a curious left turn by De Sica that was far more outlandish than any of the comedies he had made in Europe. It's certainly a neat display of his versatility, even if it's highly uneven. Sellers was ideally cast as the 'Fox', a chameleon like criminal with devilish charm. It's a rather one note comedy, but the potshots fired at modern art film makers of the time like Antonioni are gold, and the credit sequence is wonderfully jovial and nostalgic.

A bit cheesy and dated. It's not particularly hilarious, but Sellers has great presence.

An international collaboration that turned into a box-office calamity, yet, for a messy satirical farce, this picture has a surprising number of funny moments.

Vittorio De Sica makes a parody of his earlier Neorealist cinema with Peter Sellers, goofy master criminal. Film has some pacing issues but the best jokes at the expence of 1960s art films are still funny. Victor Mature gives a great performance as the vain, over the hill former movie star Tony Powell.

Considering the talent involved here, it's really not up to much. It's fun in places, but it's inconsistent, and Sellers is underused.

Not at all what I was expecting. Sellers is fine. I laughed some.

"After the Fox" is a substandard facsimile of the "Pink Panther," they even use a fox in the opening credits.
