An escaped convict goes into showbiz! What a load of bullcrap! Starts out like a super cheap prison movie with no names, before it turns into a nightclub act with fancy musical numbers! Weird mix that doesn't mix, and with a script lacking a lot! The one savior was Nancy Carroll, post (precode) fame and on her way out of the business, still being a hot dame.
