Constance Bennett carries this well but the just over 1 hour film format of the time shows its flaws with some spectacular plot somersaults.

Constance Bennett stars in a spy drama stripped of suspense as she falls for the enemy. Turns romantically soft very quickly and nothing surprises. Bennett still does a quality job with the tame script saving the picture!
