There are signs that Mandico is coming into an idiom of his own development here. Alchemy seems an appropriate reference point more than ever. Writing is a weak point, (opaque navel gazing bullshit) and yet by some miracle the film sustains itself in spite of such a critical soft spot for 2 hours. I felt Löwensohn may have been a little mischaracterised here, or dare I suggest that Mandico refrain from casting her in absolutely everything....

Like a remake of Fulci's Conquest starring Elina Löwensohn, shot on location inside of a lava lamp. Some of you people clearly don't know how to have a good time.
