Adormidera

This is Malta's "first epic," the marketing says, and I suppose the epic tradition there had to start somewhere. Should we thus temper our expectations for Adormidera? If so, I suggest practicing your tempering before watching this. It feels like a medieval-themed romance novel come to life thanks to our swarthy hero and his breathy vocalizations (think Fabio's spoken word album) as well as some Renn Faire-level costumes and action scenes. Another one that's so bad it's bizarrely fascinating.
