Adore

Milf: the movie. Call me old-fashioned, but there's only one genre for this topic, and it starts with 'p' and rhymes with 'horn'. Especially in a "i fuck your son, you fuck mine"-situation, where all protagonists are shallow beverly hills 90210 characters. It's mostly handled with such levity, it makes you wonder if the people who wrote this just have some weird sexual fantasies, which they wrapped into some half-hearted drama to justify them in front of the producers.

What a baffling film. You'd need to have a very specific fetish to enjoy this at all, you weird sex pervert.

Well, I don't know what I expected.

This works neither as a straight up "human drama" nor as an allegory for the passing or time or whatever they think they're doing. Wright and Watts deserve and have delivered so much more than this.

If you don't happen to either be in your 40s and hope to sleep with your best friend's 20-year-old child, or a 20-year-old child who wants to sleep with a parent's best friend, you're really going to have a difficult time accepting the sheer ridiculousness of Adore. It contains a couple of performances which are good but just serve to showcase how terrible the rest of the film is and how poorly their characters are written It's a fantasy movie for a specific niche audience.

Admittedly only watched it for the taboo sex, which was not the least bit thrilling, and the rest was boring, too.

MILF--the movie! (Cribbed from guy piranha, but there is no better summation.) Some competent actors are torpedoed by a lousy script and dumb direction. There is never any elucidation--spoken or unspoken--of characters' motives in some totally implausible situations, sinking it to the level of a Lifetime television movie... a really KINKY Lifetime movie.

There's potential from the premise, but suffer hugely from a script that's not very engaging or daring - and from a robotic cast, Naomi is the exception that brings some watchable emotions to her character, but even if you -like me - absolutely adore her this one is barely bearable. *Preview*: #13#, exp-3*, story, Naomi.W!/10-5, R2.
